QUESTIONS:

  1. Is my child too young or too old for the children’s service?
If your child is within the 4-11 age group, they’ll fit right in. If your child is age 3 or below, we have designated infant/toddler rooms for you to attend the service with your child. And if your child is older than 11, we have a separate program for our middle school students.

  2. Is mask required?
That’s a great question! Yes, due to the ongoing pandemic, we are asking all of our leaders, volunteers, and kids to wear a mask. We will also be performing temperature check upon check-in, keeping the teacher/leader to student ratio as low as possible, and social distancing.

  3. I’m running late for the service, can I just drop my kids off?
We understand that being a parent is no easy feat and things could get so chaotic sometimes. However, the safety of your child is one of our highest priorities. And with our newly implemented check-in/out system, (KidCheck) you can begin the check-in process at home or on your way to church.

  4. Is it okay for me stay with my child?
We understand it’s tough for our little one’s to say good-bye sometimes (sometimes we are the ones who have difficulty saying good-bye to them 😅), while we will try our best to accommodate any separation anxiety situations, we believe it is best for the child to be fully immersed in the service in the long run.

  5. My child is old enough, they should have no problem checking themselves out and find us after the service, right?
While we are very grateful for the overall friendly family atmosphere at RHCCC, however, your child’s safety is one of our top priorities, and as such, we will be requiring check-in/out by a family member or authorized guardian. Sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused, we will give you a sticker on your way out. 😁

  6. I am still concerned about the potential spread of COVID, will there be any eating or drinking during the children’s service?
That’s a legitimate concern, however, we also realize how much kids love snacks and treats. Therefore, as a compromise, we’ll be sending kids home with individually packaged snacks for the time being.

We understand that you may have additional questions or concerns, just send us an email or give us a call at 626.965.3033 ext 127, we’d be more than happy to answer/address any questions or concerns that you may have.
